What is the Diplomatic Club ?
The Club is the legal successor of the „Country Club Băneasa- Club of Sports„ – legal person by decission 69/11 July 1929- Ilfov Tribunal Civil Section
The Club is a legal Romanian person of privat law without patrimonial scope, constituted as a non-governmental and non-political association, without a lucrative scope, having its own patrimony.
Its registered address is: Şos. Bucureşti - Ploieşti no. 2 B, sector 1.
The club main objective is providing social, cultural, sport and leisure facilities for Romanian and Foreign community wanting to join.
Who can become a member of the Diplomatic Club ?
The Diplomatic Club is open for membership to the following categories declaring to obey the club Status :
a) Foreign diplomats posted in Romania, members of TC of embassies and international organizations in Romania;
b) Romanian diplomats or members of the technical chore in charge or retired;
c) Personalities of the Romanian society and foreign residents in Romania ;
d) Legal Romanian and foreign persons having a good reputation and prestige as a corporate member.
Other Romanian or foreign diplomats may occasionally enjoy club facilities as members guests with the entrance fee payment but only accompanied by a club member.
New members are approved by the Admission Committee consisting of a vice-president of the Governing Board, director of the club, director of Protocol of MFA or a deputy appointed by him.
How can you get the Diplomatic Club membership ?
You should fill out the attached form and forward it to the Admission Committee together with :
- copy of work ID or passport, or ID released by MFA (for foreign diplomats);
- 1 photo/person
- copy of handicap card (for golf players); handicap accepted: 0-36.
After your application form is approved by the Admission Committee you can pay the fees and get your membership card(s) .
The applicants are requested to fill out all the blanks with identity information (name, address, phone, E-mail).

The application form and the requested documents are to be forwarded to the club secretary office every week-day, between 9,00-13,00.
